Police seize notes in Barton fake money probe
Police are investigating the use of counterfeit currency believed to be in circulation in the Barton area.
They are keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have come across fake money.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, referring to log 261 of 2 July 2012.
Following inquiries, police have arrested two men and seized various bank notes from local shops and takeaways.
The arrested men – aged 20 and 26 - have been questioned and released on police bail until the end of August, pending further inquiries.
