Police seize notes in Barton fake money probe
Police are investigating the use of counterfeit currency believed to be in circulation in the Barton area.
They are keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have come across fake money.
Following inquiries, police have arrested two men and seized various bank notes from local shops and takeaways.
The arrested men – aged 20 and 26 - have been questioned and released on police bail until the end of August, pending further inquiries.

Officers would like to hear from anyone in Barton and surrounding area who believe they may have been given counterfeit currency in the past week.
