Postlady braves the cold in shorts for one year to aid cancer charity
THIS postlady has definitely not come up short in her year-long fundraising effort.
Michelle Willerton, 41, has braved the cold by wearing her shorts on her morning rounds for the past 12 months – raising around £1,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Challenge: Postlady Michelle Willerton on her round in Killingholme.
Michelle, who delivers to homes and businesses in Ulceby and South Killingholme, said: "I can normally wear my shorts for eight or nine months of the year, and a few of my colleagues said I wouldn't be able to do it for a year."
Spurred on by the challenge, Michelle left her long trousers in the cupboard when winter came around, collecting donations from her customers for exposing her legs to the elements.

"The last three months have been very cold. On some mornings I have had tears in my eyes wondering, why am I doing this?"
Michelle, of Immingham, added: "I'm going to leave the shorts on for now to see if I can get a few more donations, but I can't wait to put my trousers back on!"
