4 Poofs And A Piano will be the star attraction at Grimsby Pride next month.
The Poofs, who were made famous after becoming the house band on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, will tinkle the ivories on the day, in a celebration of all things lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.
Other acts include Erased, a live vocal tribute to Erasure; Girls Aloud tribute Bears Aloud; the Boy George Experience and Zee Asha and Queen tribute A Kind Of Magic.
The day also boasts a bouncy castle, adult rides, food court and BBQ, bar, and market and information stalls.
The free event at Meridian Park in Cleethorpes and hosted by Miss Kitty Litter, is organised by Grimsby Pride in partnership with the Rainbow Centre in Pasture Street, the Youth Opportunity Fund and North East Lincolnshire Council. It will run from 11am till 8pm with acts starting at 11.30am.

“Oh its not plain to see why many of us left Grimsby for other places.
You don't need a straight pride, as you are accepted without question.
People cannot help being born a different colour, and they had to fight for equal rights. Yet folk of all colours can be gay, and suffer the worse abuse of all worldwide. At least in this country its just your sad words. I am very proud to see someone from NE Lincs has organised this.
You should also note almost all Prides bring money to the area, for accommodation, and also money spent at venues and services.”

“"Happily married parade" guy, this event is not only in memory of people that lost their lives fighting for the right to be accepted, it is a way of funding things in which our community has a long way to go in. You don't need an event like this as you are already accepted. So whereas you get 365 days of acceptance, please let us have one, steve, is it?”

“Why do comments objecting to this get deleted.
I find this abhorent, its not the norm yet is celebrated.
Criminal activity is not the norm either but i dont see a shoplifting pride march being arranged.
This is not right.”
