REAL ale fans are being encouraged to head to the Rose & Crown Pub, which has a new selection of winter ales.

The choice of seasonal ales at the Scartho pub, is sure to satisfy any ale fan and will change at the beginning of March – so it's your last chance to taste the February beverages.

Robinson's Unicorn, which has been brewed since 1896, has a long dry finish with citrus fruit notes.

Inveralmond's Ossian, is a champion Scottish blonde ale named after a Scottish champion and it's a golden, full-bodied and a little nutty tasting.

Harvistoun's Old Engine Oil is a thick black ale and it looks like oil but tastes of rich chocolate. Different ales are on at different times, so check with the pub what's on pump.
