RSPCA want to speak to men in connection with animal cruelty investigations
DO you know these men?
The RSPCA are keen to speak to them in connection with ongoing investigations into animal cruelty in North East Lincolnshire, after these photographs were found among thousands used to convict a Grimsby trio.
As reported, right, Liam Ardito, 33, of Newbury Avenue, Great Coates, Gary Cannon, 27, of Alfred Bannister Mews, Laceby, and Mark Smith, 53 of Broadway, Grimsby, were each jailed for four months for animal cruelty.
District Judge Daniel Curtis, sitting at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court, heard they had admitted to a total of 30 offences, including “torturing” wild animals, by forcing foxes and a badger to fight dogs to the death.

They were brought to justice after video footage and thousands of photographs of the offences taking place were discovered on a computer, memory sticks and cameras found in Smith’s home.
However, the team behind the investigation is now keen to speak to the 10 men pictured today, who despite also being captured on film, have yet to be identified – and they are calling for your help.
RSPCA inspector Cliff Harrison said: “We really want to speak to these individuals and would be very grateful if readers of the Grimsby Telegraph were able to help us.”
He added tip-offs from the public were “vital” in tracking down those behind animal cruelty and urged anyone with concerns about the welfare of animals to call the RSPCA.
Can you help?
If you believe you have information about animal cruelty in the area, or you can identify any of the men pictured here, please call the RSPCA’s hotline number on 0300 1234 999.

“The anti-RSPCA posters are just pro-hunt (Countryside Alliance) trolls who depsise the fact that an organisation is preprared to stand up to them and shine a light on their perverse leisure activity. Breaking the law is breaking the law - yet hunt supporters seem to believe they are above it. Cruelty is cruelty - it doesn't matter if you're wearing a red coat and are on horseback or if you are in the regulation army fatigues that these 'brave, brave men' who were recently prosecuted were wearing. Blimey, an organisation that has existed for 125 years to expose cruelty to animals ends up prosecuting people being cruel to animals - whatever next!
Is hunting with dogs cruel - don't take my word for it nor the anti-RSPCA/pro-hunt trolls on here - search out some videos of foxes/badgers being chased, dug out and baited with terriers and decide for yourself.”

“I don`t know where to begin, or whether even to bother answering the bizarre rantings of anti RSPCA tolls. They condemn themselves by the garbage they write.
I have been a member of the RSPCA for over 25 years and have also served as a trustee of the organisation. The PCA stands for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals(the clue is in the title) .
They have been criticised by the blood sport lobby for wasting members contributions(very thoughtful of them) in bringing prosecutions, but now we are told they actually make lots of money from the costs they receive from such cases.I know it to be a great organisation, but to do both at once-wow.
As to rehoming animals I suggest that anyone interested look at the web pages various branches of the RSPCA(each local branch is a separate charity under the auspices of the national society) up and down the country to see they all go to great lengths to try to rehome as many animals as possible.
Have a look at the RSPCA webpage(http://tinyurl.com/9ddjw) and then decide whose side you are on”

“The facts are the rspca are'nt interested in rehoming pets because they dont make enough money from it, they target hunting because if they get a prosecution they put in for exstorsionate amount of costs like the recent case where they put in for over £300,000 when the hunt pleaded guilty straight away ? now if they put more of the millions they recieve in donations every month into building more housing and facilitys for rehoming and used more of the media to advertise animals they have for rehoming then a lot more animals would find new homes instead of been destroyed in the thousands.
at the end of the day they are a corrupt organisation that con people into believing they rehome every healthy animal that comes through there door, but the bitter truth is they kill two thirds of every animal that comes into there possesion whether its healthy or not.
and yes i am very anti RSPCA.”
