LINCOLNSHIRE Fire and Rescue were called to two incidents of suspected arson in the same area.

The first took place at a garage complex to the rear of Cumberland Terrace, Brookenby, at roughly 6.40am yesterday.

Two garages and the contents of both were set alight and two fire engines were used to extinguish the blaze. Neighbouring buildings have also been damaged by smoke.

The fire service was called back to the same area at 9.18am, after reports a small amount of refuse had been set alight. Only one fire crew was dispatched to bring the second fire under control.
