Restoring the reputation of police force
MR HOLLIS said the force was at "rock bottom" when he took over in 2005.
He has been widely praised for helping to turn round the force and restoring its reputation.
At the time of taking over as Chief Constable, Humberside Police was ranked 43 out of 43 forces for performance.
Mr Hollis, who is also the longest-serving police chief in the UK, also said he was proud of the force's ten successive years of cutting crime.

Across the force ten years ago there were 140,000 victims of crime and today the figure is around half of that.
This has come at a time when Humberside Police has the fewest officers in its history.
