Roadworks to start soon in Louth town centre
RESURFACING work will be carried out in Louth’s Eastgate next month.
The road is being resurfaced between Market Place and the Church Street junction.
Work will start at 6pm on Saturday, October 6, and will be completed by the following evening.
A diversion route will be signed and pedestrian footpaths will be unaffected.
Vic Sleaford, senior highways officer at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “We are repairing and resurfacing Eastgate now to get the road back into good condition and to avoid disruption over the Christmas period.
“We are working through the night to minimise disruption to local businesses.”
