GRIMSBY snooker hotshot Stuart Carrington was knocked out in the second round of the latest Players Tour Championship event by Rod Lawler.
Carrington went down 4-1 against the world number 31.
Carrington said: "I played quite well this week, but I came up against Rod Lawler, who seems to be in very good form.
"I fancied my chances before the match, but I did not get that many opportunities.
