Roll up to circus and be wowed
ROLL up, roll up – Planet Circus is bringing the Wow Factor to Cleethorpes.
The famous show producers have brought their big top to Pleasure Island to debut a new show, called the Wow Factor.
The all-human circus, owned by the American Circus, tours for ten months a year and the performers are fresh from their two-month break, with acts that vary from the death-defying to the hilarious.
This is the first time Planet Circus – which has toured all over the UK – has come to Cleethorpes.

You can look forward to seeing 12-year-old Peter Pavlov, the youngest stunt rider in Europe – who you may have seen on Britain's Got Talent – flying through the air on his motorcycle.
Peter is not the only stunt rider, you can also watch four motorcyclists ride around the terrifyingly dangerous giant metal sphere, known as the Globe Of Death.
Muscle-bound wrestlers will be throwing the kind of moves that will make your eyes water.
As well as these unusual acts, there is also all the classic entertainment you might expect at the circus.
Trapeze artists will be flying high with incredible acrobatic displays.
Chico the Clown – one of the most famous clowns in the UK – will be warming up the crowd with his ridiculous antics.
For the younger ones, there will be a visit from Minnie and Mickey Mouse.
Mark Whitney, marketing manager, insists that there is bound to be something for everyone.
Mr Whitney said: "It is a chance for the kids to get away from computer land and witness some really exciting things happening right in front of them.
"This is live action and real danger, not something on the internet, and it is the kind of action that they wouldn't get to see anywhere else.
"This is the first time anyone will see this show and the acts have been working on it really hard, so we are certain the crowds will like it.
"We have called it the Wow Factor because that is exactly what it has got.
"We are a family-run circus and people who come to see us say they notice it because there is something for all the family, and we hope mums, dads, children and any other relatives can enjoy it together."
The circus is already at Pleasure Island and the acts are busy putting the final touches to the show.
Circus master Tanya Mack said: "They are rehearsing around the clock to make sure that it is the best it can be for people in Cleethorpes.
"It is a new show so it has never been seen before and it is really something to look forward to."
The first shows will be on Saturday, February 11, and tickets cost £5.99. On every other day until the circus leaves on Sunday, February 19, tickets cost £7-£10.50 for children, and £7.50-£11.50 for adults, depending on the seats. There are two shows every day: 2pm and 5pm on Saturdays; 1pm and 3pm on Sundays; 3pm and 7pm on weekdays.
