Sarah's 'bean' a good sport to help cancer charity
ONE hardy fundraiser has "bean" a good sport and helped raise vital funds for a cancer charity after her step-mum was diagnosed with the disease.
Sarah Campbell, 26, took the plunge into a paddling pool filled with baked beans as revellers paid for the privilege of tipping tins of them over her head.

pooling funds: Sarah, sitting in a paddling pool of baked beans, at the Lloyds Arms pub is given a dunking by best friend Nicola Barrell.
The wacky two-hour event, which was staged at the Lloyds Arms pub in Grimsby town centre, was organised as a way of supporting Sarah's step-mum, Karen, who continues to battle bravely against lung cancer.
Drinkers got into the spirit and helped stump up close to £400 as the madcap supermarket employee showed her grit by braving the beans in a skimpy outfit.
The former Tollbar School student said: "I wanted to do something special to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support whose nurses have been great in helping my step-mum.
"I thought bathing in baked beans sounded a bit different and it was a big success. The pub was packed and I managed to raise about £400.
"Everyone seemed to get into the spirit of the event and people were lining up to tip beans on me as they came through the door – after a while it started to get very cold and squidgy."
