“I don't agree with Government Academies. Why can't the Government concentrate on bringing all schools to the same excellent standard not just throwing cash at the best schools and s*d the rest?!
It will create a two tier education system and if you think that getting your child into the school of your choice is hard now you ain't seen nothin' yet! The world and his wife will be applying for academy places and all the best teachers will want to work there too.
The academy schools will have the best teachers and the most advanced equipment. The state schools will just be left to rot and the children who attend them will be largely ignored.
And how about in the future when children apply to go to college or get a job. The academy children will be welcomed with open arms whereas the kids who just went to a regular state school won't get a look in no matter how bright they are and how good their exam results are.”

“And here you have the second recipient of the money taken from the playground schemes and Building Schools for the Future. "To them that have shall much be given and the poor shall be sent empty away". Where is social justice in the Big Society?”
