"All 15 of the girls passed both qualifications and were able to show skills in Thorpe Park Road, including a range of manoeuvres to demonstrate competence in cycling.

"The Bikeability course was offered to the school and run free of charge by School 2 School Education (S2S) funded by the Government.

"We are trying to encourage students to ride to school as part of our school travel plan and also to promote less use of cars."

The girls were presented with their certificates by headteacher Angela Martinson and staff from S2S Education.
