APPLEBY'S Ices of Conisholme is on the market for a cool £625,000.

As reported, the well-known Louth-based ice-cream business went up for sale in February, but the price tag was not revealed.

Owner Jill Muldoon is planning to retire from the business that her family has run for nearly a century.

Details listed on Edward Symmons Property Consultant's website read: "The business incorporates a factory for the production of excellent quality ice cream, wholesale delivery vehicles and sales vehicles.

"The business includes a café and sales cabin with car parking on the A1031 between Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes, and is a popular destination for visitors to the coastal resorts and the Wolds."

It is being sold by agents JH Walter, of Lincoln, and a brochure is now available on www.egpropertylink.com.
