A SPECIAL Grimsby Telegraph photographic exhibition celebrating Cleethorpes is being staged.
To celebrate the launch of our Cleethorpes and Villages edition, we will be staging an exhibition at the Cleethorpes Discovery Centre during the October half-term, from October 22 to November 5.
The exhibition will feature superb historical scenes that we have found in are extensive archives of brilliant bygone days in the resort and surrounding villages.
They will appear alongside readers’ Camera Club images of the resort.

We are looking for your photographs of scenes of Cleethorpes and villages that capture what is great about our area. From children licking ice creams to a sunset over Humberston Fitties, we would like the exhibition to be a true celebration.
We will then choose up to 40 to appear alongside our archive scenes.
Send images, of a high resolution and size (high enough for A3), in jpeg format, by e-mail to pictures@grimsbytelegraph.co.uk clearly marked Cleethorpes exhibition in the subject field.
Images should be accompanied by a caption, detail of where the picture was taken and include name, address and telephone number.
