THE clock is ticking as the grand finale of the Bottoms Up! Appeal approaches.

There are now just seven days left to get your hands on a chance to win the Bottoms Up! Toyota iQ.

Worth about £10,000, this car – kindly donated by John Roe Toyota, of Grimsby's Cromwell Road – could be yours for just £5 when you buy a raffle ticket.

But you must act fast if you want to drive away with the prize.

As reported, the Telegraph-backed Bottoms Up! appeal was launched this year to raise £150,000 for six high-observation beds (HOBs) for patients recovering from major bowel surgery at Grimsby's Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital colorectal unit.

The winning raffle ticket will be drawn at a special gala at Cleethorpes' Beachcomber, next Sunday.

As an extra push towards the £150,000 target, the Grimsby Telegraph has joined up with John Roe Toyota to help sell the tickets – meaning it's now simpler than ever to get hold of one, or two – or as many as you like.

Just send your cheques to us and we will pop your tickets in the post, or pick one up from our front desk.

Remember – the more tickets you purchase, the greater chance you stand of driving away in this brand new Toyota iQ, the car that, at just 3m long, proves good things do come in small packages.

The response to the raffle has so far been astounding, with nearly £1,000 worth of tickets sold through our office alone in the last few weeks.

Ian Phillips, chairman of the appeal, warned that after September 25, tickets for the raffle will no longer be on sale.

He said: "This is it, our final push towards the end of the appeal, and there's just one week left to get your ticket. "After then, someone, somewhere is going to drive off in this snazzy new motor from John Roe Toyota.

"And when that happens, anyone who didn't purchase a ticket will be kicking themselves for missing out on such a fantastic opportunity – don't let that be you."

Buy a ticket – or two...

If you want to support the Bottoms Up! appeal and put yourself in the driving seat, send £5 for every ticket you want, making cheques payable to the Bottoms Up! Appeal, to Jenny Shipley, Editor's PA, Grimsby Telegraph, 80 Cleethorpes Road, Grimsby, DN31 3EH.
