DIRECTOR John Fenty expects to know inside a fortnight whether he will be given £200,000-worth of shares from the Mariners Trust.

The supporters' organisation is currently balloting its 300-plus members over the issue with the former chairman promising to inject another £200,000 himself on top of the donation to assume overall control of the club and secure its immediate financial future.

Mr Fenty said: "I expect a conclusion on March 5."
