Shoplifter hid stolen items in hood of her baby's pushchair
SHOPLIFTER Maria Dodsworth hid stolen items in the hood of her seven-week-old son’s pushchair, Grimsby magistrates heard.
Dodsworth, 30, of Pershore Avenue, Grimsby, admitted stealing pyjamas, underwear, a scarf and gloves, valued at £32.20, from Primark and possessing cannabis on January 18.
Graham Ives, mitigating, said Dodsworth bitterly regretted the incident. She had been jailed for 28 days in April for theft.
Her purse had been stolen and, when it was handed in, £40 and milk tokens were missing.

“That's the usual trick, hide behind the kiddy. Drugs are or used to be stuffed in the bra.”
