Sickened by blood sports
RE: NINO Hoblyn's letter (Viewpoint, Friday 13). If my name and address was so important to you, you could have obtained it from the Grimsby Telegraph.
I am not just against fox hunting, but any blood sport like deer hunting, badger baiting, and pheasant shooting, which the Royal family do.
To say these wonderful things are bestowed upon us all does not represent the view of thousands of anti-fox hunters. In my view people who participate in watching a fox chased, caught and ripped to bits alive are sick.
Soon there will be no wildlife on this planet, with poachers killing elephants, lions and tigers.
And thank you for your invitation to a fox hunt but no thanks – I would probably get arrested, not the perpetrators, and I don't fancy a night in the cells at 81.

“JO,
I can't see any comments from any one called, "Sc." But, I said "ABOUT 70+"
So alright then, about SIXTYNINE and a HALF.
You're still an silly old woman who can only 'rabbit' on about one topic, which you know nothing about. You have to cheat by going on google, etc, for your info then pretend it's all your own 'thoughts' (?)
JO, you are a PRETENDER, or a 'NOTHING PERSON.'”

“Pensioner,
I like your last paragraph. I wholeheartedly agree, except for one thing, you say "as she matures, etc" She is PASSED maturing, she is about 70+
Nice one!”

“Jo your following statement shows your lack of intelligence. All mammals have similar physiology and anatomy, and clearly die a painful death just as you would if ripped apart. Multiple crushing and tearing injuries inflict incredible pain as nerve structures are damaged. The fox would remain alive, in severe pain, suffering untold injuries, still trying to escape until physiological shock (loss of blood pressure) caused unconsciousness. Neither you or the fox would die painlessly from such injuries.
I quote you to prove your lack of understanding and contemptible intelligence in your pathetic dismissal of barbarism:
The hounds perform a quick and painless death, and at least the fox has a running chance. More often than not it gets away.
Oh, and Neil, I just feel pity for Jo, as she matures she may come to understand the meaning of pain. After all she inflicts all of us with the pain of her daily diatribes.”
