Steve Croudson's popular goalkeepring course returns this half-term
BUDDING goalkeepers will have the chance to learn from their Grimsby Town heroes when Steve Croudson's popular coaching course returns.
Such was the success of the first session, held before Christmas, that the Mariners' goalkeeping coach has decided to do it all again.
Once again, senior stoppers James McKeown and Greg Fleming will be on hand to pass on their tips, as well as Youth-team custodian Harry Ashton.
The course will be held on Monday, February 18, and Croudson – who represented his hometown club at first-team level – has urged budding keepers to pull on their gloves on and get involved.

He said: "The first session really was a big success and I'd like to think all the kids enjoyed it as much as we all did.
"It was a great opportunity for them to come down and work with the club's goalkeepers and pick up some tips.
"To learn from the likes of James McKeown and Greg Fleming was great for them and I think they all really enjoyed it.
"The feedback that we received afterwards was really positive, so we've decided to do it again and we hope that plenty will want to get involved.
"We're all really looking forward to doing it because it was such good fun last time."
The session runs from 2pm-4pm at the Mariners' Cheapside training ground, and costs £15 per youngster. And Croudson said there is plenty for the young stoppers to look forward to.
"There will be lots of different sessions for the kids to have a go at," he added.
"They'll get the opportunity to do plenty of goalkeeping and work with the keepers at the club.
"James and Greg will also be able to answer any questions the kids may have about goalkeeping or their careers.
"The main thing is about having fun and picking up some tips along the way – just like they did last time."
