Netball Winter League overcomes wet and windy conditions
WET and windy conditions couldn't stop the fast-paced action in the Grimsby & District Senior Netball Winter League this week.
Division Three and Four took to the courts on Monday evening, having to overcome blustery conditions as well as the opposition.
In Division Three, JC Cook Ltd's shooters didn't let the weather get in the way, and shot an impressive 28 goals to take victory from The New Inn.

Contenders for the title, Louth Netball Club netted 24 in their clash with Footlights, while Endotec scored 23 goals against East Trans, showing they are now coming into their own after a few seasons in the league.
Tuesday saw much the same weather – not quite so blustery, but very wet.
In Division One, Pro-Smart and Heath & Hygiene were battling it out, with Pro-Smart coming out the victors by one nail-biting goal, to win 20-19.
One of Division Two's closest games saw newly-promoted DJ Ennis facing Novartis.
Ennis were victors 17-16 in a thriller, while Global Vision gave Wright & Gray International a real challenge, losing by one goal – 16-15.
Leaders Playsport were down a few goals on GB Signwriting early on.
And they had to dig deep to produce winning goals, before eventually running out 31-29 victors to remain top.
