Struggling Cleethorpes Town need a derby victory lift
THE Owls go into tomorrow night's derby crunch clash with rivals Grimsby Borough looking to recover from a second successive defeat.
Cleethorpes Town lost 3-2 at home to Shirebrook Town on Saturday in the Northern Counties East League Division One.

Manager Andy Liddle was hoping his players could bounce back from their 4-0 defeat at Albion Sports in their previous match, but Town's defeat at the Bradley Community Stadium extended the team's winless run to four matches.
The Owls are back at Bradley to face Borough tomorrow night (kick-off 7.45pm) and will hope that, as is often the case with derby clashes, that the formbook goes out the window.

Liddle said he would make changes in the aftermath of their humbling at Albion, and there were four new faces in the starting XI.
Town put the visitors under pressure early on but were wasteful in the final third.
And Shirebook made them pay when Jake Vernon nodded home Danny O'Donnell's cross on 22 minutes.
Seven minutes later, James Thompson fired in a good cross that Robert Ludlam converted from close range to double Shirebrook's lead.
The Owls were back in it on 36 minutes when, after a good passing move, Marc Cooper slotted home to make it 2-1.
However, Shirebrook Town re-established control just before half-time when Jason Bradley netted to make it 3-1.
The second half began in similar fashion – Town had most of the possession but lacked bite.
But after Liddle threw on Ricky Belding just after the hour mark, the striker had an instant impact.
Minutes later, Belding's through-ball found Cooper, who netted his second of the afternoon to make it 3-2.
The Owls switched to a 4-3-3 formation and forward Lee Stephenson came off the bench as Town searched for an equaliser.
Matty Coleman went closest, with a curling shot that flew just past the post.
But it wasn't to be the Owls' day as Shirebrook held on for the three points.
