WITH leaders Cleethorpes Town on cup duty, the chasing pack in Division Three of the Grimsby Cleethorpes and District Sunday League looked to take full advantage.

Keelby United surged into a 3-0 lead in their game against second-placed East Trans Pelham thanks to goals from Tom Leeming, skipper Mike Wright and Howie Davies.

However, Trans staged a second-half fight-back to finish with a point, thanks to goals from Ben Drinkall, Wayne Smith and Kye Peterson.

Nitro started on the back foot when they went behind to Jonathan Pawson's strike, but went in level at the break thanks to a goal from Stuart Sadler.

The second half saw Nitro come alive and soon went ahead through Andy Broderick, followed by a superb overhead kick from the aptly-named Louis Volley.

Humberston put on the pressure and scored a second through David Dyer, with a little help from Nitro 'keeper Lee Hanrahan, who knocked the ball onto the post and into the goal.

However, Nitro soon grabbed a fourth when Hayden Edwards converted to clinch all three points.

Leaders Wheatsheaf continue to set the pace in Division Four.

They beat Great Coates with goals from Will Clifford, who grabbed two, Stuart Inch and Neil Kirwin.

Ben Frary and Simon Tuplin replied in vain for Great Coates.

A brace from Sean Stephenson and another strike from Jack Richardson gave Clee Community ESL the points against Tap & Spile 2nds, for whom Chris Gibbins was on the scoresheet.

Josh Shipp grabbed five while Louie Schofield notched a hat-trick as Crows Nest 2nds won 9-3 against SK Smugglers AFC, while Tower Bucharest beat RIS FC 4-0.

In Division Five, East Marsh Empire (Dane Emerson, Phil Melladay, Garry Spurr) stay well in front after their 3-1 victory against AA Property New Waltham (Darryl Doherty).

Clee Motors beat Sporting Saltire (James Bird) 4-1 but Abatis Fire and Security (Luke Sargent) went down 7-1 to AFC Waltham (Iain Ceclich 4, Keil Thompson 2, Kerry Chapman).

Healing 2nds (Daniel Jackson 3) won 3-0 away to Crows Nest 3rds while Redstar Old Boys beat RER Haulage (Chris Costello, Simon Peck) 5-2.

The top three in Division Six all picked up useful points in the hunt for promotion.

Spiders Web won 4-2 against Seachill Athletico while Winns FC won 4-3 against Grimsby Rovers (Carl Hewson 2, Marc Hicks).

West Marsh Old Boys (D Freeman 4, Nathan Green, Chad Taylor, Andrew Thompson) won 7-4 against Olivers Wine Bar (Ashley Collins 2, Scott Short, Clark Cutmore).

Kings Head Waltham (Paul Hand 4, Daz Ticehurst, Jimmy Hornsey) beat Honest Lawyer (Danny Harrop) 6-1 with a great team performance.

Buddies II Athletic (Jordan Chaplin 3, Lee Sadler, Karl Eklund) won 5-1 against Ace Homecare (Carl Carroll) while The County (Daniel Walters, Andy Croucher) beat EAG FC (Steven Chapman) 2-1.

Jamie Dixon grabbed six for runaway Division Seven leaders The Oak Tree in their 9-3 rout over Pelham 1878 as Advance Alarms (Scott Barber 2, Leigh Hickinson 2) beat Laceby Arms 4-1.

LLS Allstars (Kieran Atkinson, Iain Newton) drew 2-2 with IFK Knottkoping (Michael Hand, Christopher Jennings) while Winns 2nds drew 3-3 with FC Ntex (Alex Hoyle 2, Craig Holland).
