ELLA fever is gripping the nation – and even American superstar Cher can't 'Believe' her talent.

Sunday night saw her through to the judges' houses – with Tulisa in St Lucia, where she will face competition from five other girls for only three places in the live shows.

We'll have to wait until this Sunday to find out if she's made it all the way, but meanwhile, fan groups have been set up on social networking sites and she has got not just the UK, but Europe talking as well.

Posters on the Daily Mail's website had nothing but the praise for the teenager:

"Move over Adele – amazing," said Louie from Dublin.

"What an incredible talent and such a lovely girl!," added Elisa from Perugia.

And another user said: "They may as well pack up and go home, SHE is the winner, absolutely stunning voice."

And she was the talk of Twitter.

Here are just some of the tweets posted in support of her:

OK! Magazine: "Ella Henderson's stunning #XFactor bootcamp performance had us in tears last night – you should SO watch it again!"

X Factor 2011 contestant Misha B: "I'm here for Ella Henderson .... I hope she wins!!"

Britain's Got Talent dance stars Diversity: "Another amazing voice... Ella Henderson sing your heart out."

Showbiz columnist Dan Wootton: "I believe in @Ella__Henderson Already the full package for me."

Rival judge Gary Barlow, who is looking after the overs category: "Oh my goodness ... Ella #massive"

Danish Twitter user Rabiya Styles: "@Ella__Henderson oh my goodness! I've been watching ur audition & hearing ur song like 1 billion times now! Absolutely amazing! #DanishFan x"

Another user, Sabina: "@Ella__Henderson You need to win XFactor! a lots of hugs from Romania! You have fans hereeee!"

But it's not just Ella who's helping to put North East Lincolnshire on the X Factor map.

As reported, GMD3 member Michael Parsons is a former Humberston School pupil and still has family in Cleethorpes, although he now lives in Windsor.

While Ella was the first girl to be told she had got through to judges' houses, it wasn't quite as plain sailing for GMD3, who had earlier impressed the judges with Maroon 5's Moves Like Jagger.

Five groups were told they were through, but judges couldn't decide if the final place should go to them or another boy band, Triple J.

It was an acapella sing-off that secured Michael's place at Louis Walsh's house in Las Vegas.

Louis will be joined by former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne, who will help him to decide who to take through to the live shows, and Tulisa has invited along Tinie Tempah.

Tune into ITV1 on Saturday and Sunday night for a Judges' Houses double bill.

“Superstar Cher? I thought they were talking about the American version, who's been with us since the 60s, not the British one who's been in the business 5 minutes. If ever a word was devalued, its Superstar.”

“It's always good to see local people do well and get national recognition, makes a change from the negative publicity the area normally gets. Good luck to both!”

“The GT proclaimed that "ELLA fever is gripping the nation".

Don't be silly. She's a talented young lass and I wish her all the best, but the GT is taking all this a bit too far. It's only a talent contest, not the Second Coming of Christ for goodness sake!”
