One Swallow (Inn) that makes a summer
The Swallow Inn's new manager has pledged to return the family pub to the popularity it enjoyed in its heyday.
General manager Andrew Fisher – who previously managed The Beachcomber, Humberston, for 20 years – believes the well-known pub has the potential to attract a thriving local and passing trade.

Mr Fisher, who took charge last week, said: "The Swallow is in a beautiful spot with great views and I want to make it as popular as it once was.
"We've got fantastic outdoor space and I'm hoping to take advantage of that with outdoor events during the summer."
Located in the village of Swallow, just off the A46, the pub is owned by David Butler, who is also proprietor of the thriving Coach House in Humberston.
Mr Fisher added: "David first owned the pub six or seven years ago and then sold it to a new owner.
"It was incredibly popular before he sold it and we want to get back to that situation."
The pub has adopted the same two-for-one menu as the Coach House, with all starters, main courses and desserts included in the offer.
Mr Fisher said: "We've got a great team of chefs and the menu is seasonal and made with fresh produce.
"We've got a great selection of weekly specials which currently include all kinds of fish.
"I'm hoping to include some game dishes on the menu, in keeping with the rural surroundings."
