Tailoring service will suit customers
BESPOKE tailoring is being offered by a Scartho menswear shop in response to public demand.
It has been introduced at Whiteheads, in Louth Road, by tailor Paul Bien, 52, a friend of the owner, Mike Stanford.
Paul said: "I am looking forward to working with Mike as I love what I do and it is the only trade I have ever known."
He learned the skill from his father, a Polish immigrant who moved to York in 1947.

The family owned a shop in Hull, but it closed after he died. Paul reopened the business about eight years ago.
In 1852 there were 24 tailors in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area, rising to 102 in 1906 and 1907.
But the industry began to decline and in 1963 there were just 26.
Mr Stanford added: "It's about being unique and different, and having quality cloth which is used to make the suit and to satisfy the person's needs."
