Takeaway owner attacked in his shop in Grimsby

A MAN suffered a cut nose and swollen face following an assault in Grimsby.

It happened at 6.05pm on Monday when a man entered the Wild Mexican takeaway in Freeman Street and attempted to sell something to the owner, which the owner declined to purchase and asked the man to leave. The man refused to leave and as the owner attempted to escort him from the premises the man assaulted him, causing facial injuries. The offender is described as being of Asian appearance, 5ft 9ins tall and slim. He had short dark hair and was wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
