Taylor Made Boys beat Linden lads
TAYLOR Made Carpets bounced back in style in the Premier Section of the Roy Ling Mutual Grimsby Snooker Doubles League.
Following the previous week's thrashing at Clee Cons B, the Taylor lads came back well to beat a strong looking Linden Homes B 5-1 at Cleethorpes.
Mark Stevens, Keith Tomlinson, Ian Sadler and Fred Parker won the first four frames before Gaz Horsfall and Den Leggett pulled one back for the visitors.
Keith Southwell, pictured, and Craig Taylor then ran in the last frame for the Carpets to complete the win.

Rick Gilliatt, Dave Morley, Rob Collins and Roy Gibney all won 2-0 for the visitors in reply to a 2-0 from John Baker and Chris Brown.
Another 4-2 scoreline came at Hainton A when Dave Cox and Luke Major both won two for the home team, and Dan Frosdick, Aaron McHugh, George Bartlett and Yan de Grouchy shared with Mike Crooks, Pete Krofchak, Nigel Barr and Roger Cropp of Healing Legion A.
Blossom Way B shared the spoils with Hainton B in a match where every pair won and lost a frame.
Scoring for the Immingham lads were John Rowson, Myles Kennan, Kev Gowing, Kev Johnson, Stuart Gibb and G. Robertson.
Andy McArthur, Ray Hammond, Dave Boyington, Dave Tanner, Mick Dobson and Keith Atmore all won a frame for Hainton.
Dads & Lads, one of the new teams in Section A, recorded their second 5-1 victory on the trot when winning in style at Cromwell B.
Martin and Taylor Dowling shared the opening frames with Daz Roche and Cliff Rigby before Pete and Alfie East, and Jase and Mathew Lawton won the last four frames.
Mike Barrett and Doug Stolworthy managed a frame for Clee Bowls B at Standard A, but that was their lot as John Brocklesby, Dave Rushby, Paul Abbott and Frank Barber all won 2-0 for the home team.
And Dave James and Geoff Brown won the single in a 5-1 victory.
A 2-0 from Barry Jebson and Tony Bywater, and singles from Dave Page, Peter Needham, Dave Sargent and Mike Needham, gave West End B a 4-2 win against Blossom WayA.
S. Walker, R. Lowther, L. Mowforth and Luke Gale won the frames for the Blossoms.
