Teenager's skull fractured following assault in Grimsby
A teenager is in hospital after being assaulted in Grimsby town centre on Saturday evening.
The 17-year-old was involved in an altercation with another man just after 10pm outside McDonald’s in East St Mary’s Gate.

The victim was punched in the head which resulted in him falling to the ground. Whilst he was on the pavement, the suspect then stamped on his head resulting in him suffering a fracture to the skull and a bleed on the brain.
The 17-year-old old, who had been out socialising with a group of friends, does not recall the incident and has been unable to provide a description of the suspect.

Officers are urging anyone who may have seen the altercation, or has any information about the person responsible, to contact Grimsby Police Station on the non-emergency number 101 referring to log 826 of 06 October 2012 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
