“The traffic lights were put up last night due to the water gushing onto the road from a leak since yesterday morning. Surely the traffic lights are better then an accident on the ice this morning!”

“One unhappy commuter!!!!! why erect traffic signals before rush hour and not carry out any work??? Wybers Wood has 2 exits... both were at deadlock and made kids very late for Healing school! How long is this going to last? This makes it impossible for travellers to get kids to school and on to work on time even if you leave early. Parents cannot seriously abandon kids in the playground at 8 am in this weather to get to work on time. The buses (one every half an hour) are stuck in this traffic too and again arriving at school in the freezing cold half an hour early is out of the question (for an 11 year old). Oh and if kids dont arrive on time they get detention; despite the cause for lateness! The queues in both direction were ridiculous :-(”

“There was no attention (urgent or otherwise) whatsoever being paid to the problem at around 7:30am this morning. Not a workman in sight. However, the lights were causing massive delays. My journey was extended by 40 minutes. Why not put the lights in place AFTER the morning rush. It seems such things are done for the convenience of the contractors and at the huge inconvenience of 100's of motorists”
