THE draw has taken place for the 2010 Grimsby & District Closed Tennis Championships.

Competitors involved in first round matches will now have received a match information card.

Those who have not received cards have byes into the second round and will be notified of their opponent on the completion of first round matches.

As last year's winner, Harry Burley, is unable to defend his Men's Singles title, last year's runner-up Thomas Drew is the number one seed.

Both he and number two seed James Snape are among several potential winners.

Jane Hunter defends her Ladies Singles, and Mixed Doubles title with partner Chris Watkinson.

John and Jo Watkinson, last year's beaten finalists, are seeded two in what will be a very competitive event.

Adam Wrightham and Simon Baldwin defend the Men's Doubles Title in what should be another hard-fought event.

With Debbie Brockbank unable to participate in this year's event, the Ladies Doubles Title is also up for grabs.

Jane Hunter and Charlotte Todd are seeded one.

Andy Lashbrook is unable to compete.
