Test of speed and strength
THE mix of road and muddy trails proved a winning combination for runners taking part in the Cleethorpes AC Multi-Terrain race.
Starting and finishing in Thorpe Park and featuring a moderately muddy off-road section, the 4.3-mile race was good test of strength and speed.
Similar to the Wolds Veteran Runners Club's Denis Lake Memorial Race the previous week, the event was more low-key and smaller than some, but the battles were just as keenly fought out.
Weather conditions were ideal, cool and calm, with little wind.
