Thief, 21, banned from Grimsby Spar shop
PERSISTENT troublemaker Sean Roberts has been jailed and banned from a shop after thieving and assaulting staff.
Roberts, 21, of Hainton Avenue, Grimsby, admitted burglary, theft and two offences of assault.

The court heard that Roberts had been drinking heavily when he and another man were involved in raiding the staff area of a Spar shop in Laceby Road, Grimsby, and stealing cigarettes.
He also stole lager and sweets and assaulted member of staff Annaliesa Burton and security guard Shaun Smith during confrontations.

Simon Hirst, mitigating, said Roberts had an unenviable list of previous convictions, including for violence and dishonesty. He had a serious alcohol problem and admitted his behaviour was “shameful and appalling”.
He was jailed for a year and given a two-year restraining order, banning him from the shop and Annaliesa Burton and Shaun Smith.
As he left the dock, Roberts grinned and told the judge: “Nice one.”
