Tracing Bermose family
I AM trying to trace a family called Bemrose, of Lincolnshire, possible of the Grimsby, Branston or Louth area.
I believe a Doreen Cynthia Bemrose was born in December 1930 and that her mother’s maiden name was Brown.
My interest is that she is possibly my mother.

Seems you have two Doreen Bemrose's mixed up.1 Doreen C Bemrose b.1926 Melton Mowbrey mother's maiden name Watson.2 Doreen Bemrose b.1930 Louth mothers maiden name Brown.
As to marriages, there are only two.1 Doreen C Bemrose married William C Swankie 1947 Portsmouth.2 Doreen Bemrose married Michael J Coulbeck 1967 Grimsby.

A relative of mine married a Joseph Bemrose in Grimsby in 1891 and I've researched them a bit.
I don't know of a Doreen Cynthia, but my research doesn't go up to the 30s, so we could be linked!
Joseph Bemrose had a painting company and I believe the family was fairly wealthy. They had a nice house near the People's Park.
