Tree-mendous chance to help shape new woodland in Immingham

THIS lorry-load of trees arrived in North East Lincolnshire yesterday, ready for the planting of a new woodland in Immingham tomorrow .

As reported, Immingham residents are being invited to dig deep to help plant the trees in an area of open space in Spring Street.

The site is one of five in the borough chosen to become a Jubilee Wood to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Residents, community groups, clubs and societies are invited to come to the former sports field between 11am and 1pm tomorrow.
