THREE uplifting speakers will help business owners in Grimsby maximise their assets next month.

Michelle Mone OBE, founder of cleavage-enhancing lingerie giant Ultimo, headlines E-Factor's An Audience With ... supported by stair lift student star Ruth Amos and 20-year-old human behaviour analyst Chris Ball, a protege of television Dragon Peter Jones.

The trio have been booked in to come to North East Lincolnshire to inspire those who manage their own firms, giving a clear example of what can be achieved, while answering questions posed.

Michelle is feted as one of Britain's most successful female entrepreneurs. The 38-year-old left a Glaswegian school at 15 with no qualifications to take an office job to support her wheelchair-bound father, and rose threw the ranks at Labatt Brewers. While getting ready for a black tie dinner in 1996 the Ultimo idea was born.

Since that lightbulb moment, she has not looked back, with her products worn by celebrities and now a supermarket range too.

The night, to be held at John Whitgift Academy's theatre on Wednesday, November 14, will also see the town welcome back 21-year-old Sheffield entrepreneur Ruth Amos, who designed a revolutionary stair aid as a GCSE project, going on to create a successful product and business. She was special guest at Beep's Biz Ed Day this summer, at Franklin College.

Chris Ball, from Barry, South Wales, has built a reputation for impressing with an insight into human behaviour. He focuses on the power of psychology to drive success and overcome mental barriers.

The event, part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, takes place between 6pm and 8pm and is one of 37,000 events across 115 countries.

There are 200 places available for those in business in North East Lincolnshire.
