THOSE with a sweet tooth will be set to burst after tucking into hundreds of goodies making up part of the Win A Wedding package.

As reported, the Ashbourne Hotel, in North Killingholme, and Pronuptia, in Grimsby, have launched the competition, supported by the Grimsby Telegraph, with a prize wedding worth more than £13,000.

A Little Touch of Class, in Littlefield Lane, Grimsby, is offering a £200 candy buffet with everything from chocolate treats to retro sweets, along with £100 worth of balloons.

Owned by Dave Christoffersen, wife Sayka and mother-in-law Mo Auty, the business is the family's second shop, following the success of alternative gift store Little Bundles Of Joy, on Freeman Street.

Dave said: "We are offering a candy buffet with hundreds of sweets to choose from and the service is something brand new to the area as it is a new concept in the wedding industry.

"We can also supply printed bags and we are giving away tons of wedding balloons, with a choice of any colour or style.

"Balloons are something we had to sacrifice at our own wedding because the big day was so expensive.

"So we know what a good opportunity this competition is for a local couple."

S&E Photography, of Fulstow, are also offering a staggering £1,000 photo package with two photographers for the wedding day.

Owned by Steve Jacklin and wife Emma-Jo, the company has been going five years and the couple are regularly helped by Lincoln University student Jess Tilston.

Steve said: "We are offering the winners a 40-page story book style album and will take many different photos, from group and immediate family photos to candid shots.

"When it comes to your wedding day everything can be over and done with so quickly and it is all a blur, at least the couple have the photos to look at afterwards and they are a great keepsake."

Entering Win A Wedding is simple. All you have to do is fill out the form currently being printed in the Grimsby Telegraph nominating someone – or yourself – and attach a letter explaining in fewer than 200 words why your choice deserves to win.

A panel of judges will decide who gets the incredible package, which includes the dresses, suits, civil ceremony and wedding reception, as well as an evening party at the Ashbourne Hotel, which is currently undergoing an extensive transformation – keep checking your Grimsby Telegraph for more.
