A 46-YEAR-old man was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary following a crash between two HGVs.

The "serious incident" happened at around 8.30am on Monday, March 11, and roads were closed between junctions 2 and 1 near Thorne.
The injured man who was driving the orange lorry is from Scunthorpe and received treatment for serious injuries.
The other HGV driver a 48-year-old man from Cumbria was not injured in the collision.
Witnesses to the crash are asked to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 205 of March 11 2013.
