UPDATE: Weelsby Street incident

A MAN in his 40's was found collapsed in Weelsby Street, Grimsby, yesterday.

He was taken to hospital at roughly 7pm with injuries caused by excessive alcohol consumption.

Humberside Police are still trying to communicate with the man.

    “I trust the diagnosis of excessive alcohol consumption is correct.
    Is the hospital sure that the man has not suffered a stroke, seizure or epileptic fit after only a moderate drink?
    It is easy for the man in the street to conclude that someone is drunk when he or she is in fact ill, but - hey! these are professionals, who never make mistakes or take short cuts, do they?”
