A MAN has appeared in court charged with aggravated burglary and wounding with intent following the attack on Grimsby pensioner Patricia Swales.

As reported, the 69-year-old was attacked at her home in Revesby Avenue, Grimsby, on June 21.

Robert Howard, 18, of Revesby Avenue, denied both charges when he appeared at Grimsby Magistrates' Court  this morning.

He was remanded in custody.
