Upgrade of bridge park

EAST YORKS: Plans are in the pipeline to upgrade facilities at the Humber Bridge Country Park.

But East Riding Council leader Stephen Parnaby has warned the project needs to be "realistic" given limited available funding opportunities.

The council is working with the Humber Bridge Board and local volunteers to draw up proposals.

Mr Parnaby said: "It has got to realistic and will probably be done in bite-sized chunks because of funding."
