VIDEO: Did Cleethorpes O'Neills break world record for Irish jigging?
SPIRITS were high in Cleethorpes' only Irish bar tonight as punters tried to beat the world record for the largest Irish Dance.
Across the country drinkers joined the jig in all 49 of the chain's pubs at 8pm and danced for five minutes straight.

World record attempt
The current record stands at 10,036.
Manager, Michael Carrigan, said: "The jig is the simplest Irish dance to do. Everyone had a lot of fun, despite getting a little out of breath. Hopefully we managed it."
