GRIMSBY Town winger Marcus Marshall can’t wait for tomorrow night’s FA Trophy clash with Luton Town.

The 23-year-old is set to come up against the team who tried to tempt him away from under the Mariners’ noses after being recalled by parent club Bury last week.

But having spurned the Hatters’ advances, he’s now returned to Blundell Park just in time for the clash.

And while he admits he doesn’t quite know what to expect tomorrow night, he’s looking forward to what is sure to be a fiery encounter.

“I have to say that I think Wrexham are the biggest threat. They have been there or thereabouts for several seasons and we can't effect any of their games for the rest of the season as we have played them twice - with 2 very good results I must say. They also have a game in hand and can go above us if they win that.”

“I disagree ProperGrimbo I think Luton & Wrexham are our biggest challengers for the title this season and have all season. I think Newport will fall away but to be fair they are well above where I would of put them so they are still in with a shout as are Forest Green. We desperately need to string a few wins together and keep up top as it's not going to be an easy ride with only 1 team with that top spot. Come on the Mariners!”

“I just said "No thanks" hahaha

Cant see Luton putting a run of 4 wins together to get back in the race for top but with the FA cup they might be happy to chance the play offs again.”
