“I am glad it's not just me that has noticed that if you stick to the speed limit the next set of lights will be go to red as you approach, this goes for all of the traffic lights in Grimsby & Cleethorpes, it must have took someone an age to achieve, look at Hewits circus, leave the Tesco lights, keep to the speed limit, & you will hit lights for new Waltham on red, how difficult can it be to synchronize 2 sets of lights?”

“A simple solution could be using a light system, maybe red light to stop one direction, and a green light to allow the other direction to proceed safely, or am I thinking to far ahead, could they wire up such a system, and would drivers understand it,maybe in the future who knows......”

“If you ask me I think they should of built and underpass or built peaks parkway on an elevated road above the streets and then slope down towards Victoria street..oh yeah I forgot..money again lol..what gets me is earthquake prone zones have lots of these elevated highways(L.A,Tokyo, etc) yet we live in a quiet neighbourhood of plate tectonic activity and our road systems are of 18th century standards...come on surely someone somewhere can plan years in advance and foresee that the number of cars increase as our population grows..councils live for the moment then create huge roadworks to cause more chaos few years down the line to carry out improvements..crazy! :-(”

“Well the speed (average) cameras recently installed haven't deterred crashes...lots of near misses there too and a motorcycle rider killed there few years back...Think the problem is people try to rush through to beat the lights as they are all timed wrong with hainton avenue..its a mess that road and a nightmare in the mornings :-(”
