“Streaky that was brill, but it just proves how passionate GTFC fans can be about someone who is willing to give their all for their club. Given time he will fit back in nicely, and I just hope that I can be there when he takes the field, got goosebumps even now just thinking about the roar of the crowd. Good luck Liam, you thoroughly deserve it.”

“Liam your very well loved at this club by all Grimsby Town fans and you've been missed as much.Grimsby Town fans are so passionate about their club and football this is what makes our club great, the away support is awesome and home attendance is improving since our league position TOP!!Any player who joins our club and shows the fans their worthy and want to wear the Town shirt will always be appreciated and respected by us fans.Liam is a prime example of this along with many other players at this club. The buzz and belief that S&H has restored back into our football club is great and long may it continue. When we played Luton tuesday night and won 3-0 you could see the passion in the players and fans what that win meant to us all against Luton who had just won Norwich in the fa cup.At last we have a team of battlers who give it their all for our great club, they may not win every game but at least we know they are trying to.UTMM.”

“Generous, Streaky! Does that only go for Liam?
I'd like to be there when you take the field, Liam. I think you can be sure of a good reception. Shame you're missing the Alfreton game. Come on Town!”

“You're more than welcome Liam after your efforts last season.
In fact I love you so much, if I found you asleep in bed with my wife, I'd pop another blanket on you just to keep you warm.
