A CLEETHORPES acoustic band are giving away tickets to see them perform at the Bearded Theory festival.

The Life And Times Of The Brothers Hogg are playing the main stage at a festival in Derby this May – and they are giving one lucky fan the chance to win a pair of weekend tickets.

Band member Nena Mager, said: “We’ve been looking for a way to reward our fans for their support over the last year and now the festival organisers have given us the ideal chance!

“It’s a really fantastic independent festival with a stellar line up, great food and drink and a friendly family atmosphere.”

To be in with a chance of winning, you have to follow the band on Twitter or like them on Facebook.

The competition is called Best Beard – fans have to send in a photo of themselves sporting the best beard possible (real or fake). There will also be prizes for second and third place.

The winner will be revealed on Saturday, March 23, at 7.30pm during a fundraising event at Lucarly’s, in Humberston, and later posted through the social media sites.

The Life and Times of the Brothers Hogg will be performing, followed by a Ceilidh. You can also catch the band at Mucky Muldoon’s on Sunday, March 24.

Tickets cost £5, and all proceeds go to Andy Collins’s London Marathon charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

The band take to the main stage at Bearded Theory, on Sunday, May 19 and will be playing songs from their upcoming album, The Life And Times Of…
