If you look carefully at the situation its not the drug that causes the crime but the fact it is illegal. In November California is voting whether to make it legal so that they can remove the criminal gangs that are associated with its supply, make it less likely kids will get hold of it and generate millions in tax so they can build hospitals and schools. “I just love the knee-jerk Daily Mail reactions on here. I'm not a user of Cannabis or any other illegal drug, Tried it a few times growing up but funnily enough I'm neither addicted to it and out robbing little old ladies for my "fix" or suffering from mental disorders.

I've read enough from both sides of the argument to know that Cannabis is less harmful than either alcohol or tobacco. Growing a dozen or so plants is hardly a "Drugs Factory" and like Nigel and Big Dave said its probably some bloke growing for "personal use" plus hoping to make a little bit of cash on the side.

I won't get started on the medicinal benefits of Cannabis over synthetic opiates etc, but I bet there are more than a few MS suffers in the area who could clue you in.”
