Flights have been grounded at East Midlands airport, after the runway was closed due to the adverse weather conditions.

Currently, Humberside Airport is operating as normal. However, passengers are being advised to contact their airline before travelling and to allow additional time for their journey to the airport.

Traffic problems have also been reported on the A180 between Pyewipe roundabout and Great Coates as the rush hour got under way, though it is not believed there have been any accidents.
