IT may look like a blizzard out there at the moment, but the Met Office is predicted things will ease off later today.

The forecast is for less frequent snow showers this afternoon, though you will still want to wrap up warm, as the northeast wind is bitterly cold.

Tonight will be generally clear, with isolated snow showers.

However, tomorrow could bring heavy snow showers – with accumulations of snow most likely near the coast.
