Snooker: Waddingham's century blast
CRAIG Waddingham's break-building stunned his rivals and helped Clee Cons B extend their lead at the top of the table.
Waddingham, alongside Martin Dowling, knocked in breaks of 58 and 30 in the first frame of the Cons' Roy Ling Mutual Grimsby Snooker Doubles League clash against Blossom Way B.
-

But that was just the warm-up – he potted a tremendous 102 century in the next frame.
An his ton could have been greater but for a close miss on the final red.
Waddingham's form left Blossom Way's Albert Potterton and John Rowson without a single point to their names.
The Cons went on to triumph 5-1.
Mark Goss and Steve Donner won 2-0 and Scott Ayres and Jon Steel shared with Blossom pairing Lee Richardson and Ady Markham.
AMS (UK) trail the leaders by ten points after their 4-2 victory against Clee Cons A at the Ray Edmonds Snooker Centre.

Westlands A hit back to beat Clee Bowls A 4-2. The hosts began well with Roy Ling and Dave Ashmore winning the first two frames, but Anthony and Bob Gunn and Dan Mumby and Nige Emmerson responded for the Westlands visitors.

The duo's 2-0 levelled the score after Gary Wright and Chris Jennings' double and Craig Brocklebank and Lloyd Howell's single, against Dave Powell and Martyn Shaw, put Healing 3-1 up.

Paul Rushby and Ewan Robertson's 2-0, and Paul Smith and Rob Collins' single against Peter Cullum and Gil Clarke, put the visitors 3-1 up.

Another 3-3 draw came at Westlands B when a 2-0 from Johnpaul Teanby and Dave Gunn cancelled out a 2-0 from Hainton B's Andy McArthur and Keith Atmore.
The shared pairing of Steve Auckland and Jason Gunn, and Dave Boyington and Dave Tanner, saw a frame score of 66-89, but unfortunately for the players concerned, it was made up of a lot of fouls and not breaks!
Cromwell B won for only the second time this season when they completed the double at Standard A.
Dave James and Frank Barber won a frame for the home team against Daz Roche and Cliff Rigby before Ray Revell, Art McDougal, Adi Richardson and Daz Burrows won all the rest to give the Cromwell lads a 5-1 victory.
